You really need a press to do these correctly.
Make sure safety glasses are worn when replacing these joints.
Remove the retainer clip from the ball joint just below the grease boot if it has one.
Secure the lower arm and press out squarely form the top .
Turn over the lower arm and press new joint in till it rests against the arm
Check you have enough clearance to install the retaining clip back into position.
